Since January 1, 2022, Gerda Ridler is artistic director of the State Gallery of Lower Austria.
She has been active in various capacities in the international museum and exhibition sector for nearly thirty years. Gerda Ridler served as research director of the Upper Austrian State Museum and was founding director of Kunstmuseum Ritter in Waldenbuch near Stuttgart.
As an art historian, her expertise lies in the field of twentieth- and twenty-first-century fine arts and, as a legally certified expert, in Concrete Art in particular.
